We aim to provide victims of trafficking with the aid and assistance required to empower them to take control of and better their lives.

The STOP helpline is confidential and can be accessed during working hours from Monday to Friday. Our team of helpline staff are experienced, caring and able to provide advice, information and assistance to callers with concerns of human trafficking.
 
Forms of assistance
 
We will work to co-ordinate the efforts of existing organisations helping to ensure that victims of trafficking can access services that are appropriate to their needs. These services are:
 
Shelter and rescue
Assistance in finding safe and secure accommodation
Documentation
STOP will help secure documentation such as travel documents
       
Medical support
STOP will help access medical support
Family tracing
STOP will help establish contact with your family should you wish to do so
       
Legal assistance
STOP will help access legal advice and assistance
Victim witness co-ordination
STOP will support victims through the criminal justice process should they decide to become a witness in legal proceedings in the UK
