| STOP (Trafficking UK) is a new charity working to
support trafficked people and raise awareness of the
urgent problem of modern day slavery in the UK.
Human Trafficking is the fastest growing criminal
activity in the world, with a turnover exceeding
US$10 billion. Estimates suggest that the number
of people trafficked annually is between 600,000
(US Government figure) and 3 million (International
Labour Organisation figure). |
